Rocky: I can't do it.

Adrian: What?

Rocky: I can't beat him.

Adrian: Apollo?

Adrian: What are we gonna do?

Rocky: I don't know.

Adrian: Don't say that.

Rocky: Ah come on, Adrian, it's true. I was nobody. But that don't matter either, you know? 'Cause I was thinkin', it really don't matter if I lose this fight. It really don't matter if this guy opens my head, either. 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood.

Yeah I saw and it was not to pleasant. Almost makes up for the 4 games we took up in Boston earlier this year doesn't it? What does that leave you guys, like 5.5 out still? Trust me you guys and the Yanks have too many problems this year, you better hope you can stay ahead of Toronto Josie cuz they look like a tough team now.
Also happened to catch a bit of the Celtic game as well. What is it with Boston teams this year? Bruins blow a 3 games to 0 lead along with a 3-0 lead in game 7, Celts up 3-0 and lose 2 in a row. They're looking old and tired now Josie. Just like Drew and Lowell and Big Sloppy will look like at the end of this year. You better hope the Sox don't get into the playoffs against the Yanks and go up 3-0. It would undo all of that great Karma (Yankees, only team in baseball to blow a 3-0 series lead hahahahaha) to let them do the same thing to y'all.

Having said all this, I am concerned. Half the team isn't hitting and the manager keeps screwing with the lineup instead of letting the guys who are hitting well play more. Hopefully the Rays will go on the road soon and tear it up again.

Neo, I'm just thrilled they won 3 in a row. They do not look spectacular this year. I don't even know if they're in line to get 95 wins....of course this could be the beginning of a nice winning streak.

Yeah I was flipping between the celtics and the sox although i have zippo interest in the celtics anymore.

Like Kissing My Sister.....

The Very Josie was Very fun yet I'm Very frustrated. (looking at you Jordan) We ended up with (13) players.  Not too shabby, considering it was Dank night. The players were: 1. Coop 2. Frankie Baby 3. Gary 4. Jordan 5. Kattitude 6. Lucky Duck 7. Memphis Mojo 8. The Lovely Very Josie 9. WolfsButt, I mean Wolfshead :P 10. Edgie??? 11. GoBurn1 12. My sis, PrettyCat1 a/k/a Cricket 13. Baynes Baynes made an entrance showing up a tiny bit late, but what a pleasant surprise.  I could've kissed that frog!  (frog avatar)  Baynes I think you can leave work at a decent time one a month, right?  The Very Josie is only once a month! 2 tables.  I started off with Mojo, Kat, Edgie, GoBurn1, Baynes & Ducky at my table.  Started off playing good and stayed that way.  Caught some decent cards early on and kept the chips I won.  But that Damn Mojo was a thorn in my side for the whole game.  He got MORE chips early on and held onto them too.  Mojo will now be called Nem

Upset

I got a lot of much needed sleep last night and woke up with intentions of writing a very funny story but plans have changed my friends. I just read Tony's Latest Post and I'm too worried or upset to write about anything so frivolous.  I think many of his readers just see him as an interesting story, and not a person.  I see the person, who I was trying so very hard to steer away from a train wreck, but it didn't work.  In fact, the part that scares me the most is maybe I, with my good intentions, pushed him further off the cliff.  Maybe I put too much pressure on him to avoid the machines - too much pressure about something he is unable to control.  I need to shut the fuck up and stop giving out unsolicited advice, which most likely will not happen.  I cannot express how badly I feel about this.
