High Stepping!

Unbelievable.

I decided to listen to Riggs and Waffles and not blow half my bank roll on one tourney.  Instead I was advised to go back to the steps, which is what I did.

I played a $24+2 (2) table.  5 places get a step 4 ticket, 6-7 gets you your $24+2 ticket back.  I won it and got a $75 ticket. (see below)

Yes it's a shitty job at cutting pasting paintbrush, whatever you call it.  I'm lucky I was able to get it done at all.

Anyway, so I went up another step.  Used the $75 ticket for a 9 person...1st and 2nd get entry into the Sunday Brawl (valued at $256).  Not only did I do that, I pwned the entire table.  No one was even close to me after the first 15 minutes.

Check this out:

So Riggs - can I play this on Sunday or do I unregister???  At this point, the buy in is about 1/3 of my bank roll....it's still too much, isn't it? Fawk.  I could step it up again I suppose.  It is only noon.

I fucking rock.

Play smart.

P@WNING. LOL. I say do whatever your heart says. Unregister and play the steps again since your killing them or use the ticket and have fun. It's good bankroll management because it only cost you 24$ to get into the brawl. Either choice is fine.

If you won entrance, play. Unless you want to parlay that cash into more shots

I'm gonna try one more step game. $24 one table. 1-2 get $75 ticket.

You're really 'stepping out.'

I'd say that the decision should come from your head first, then your heart.

Although not much beats the feeling of advancing through all the steps and succeeding, I'd put grinding a bankroll up to your desired level right up there.

Although on a slightly different program myself as "Bam-Bam", here's my idea on decisions like yours.

1) Take the first step and win.
2) Bank the moola.
3) Repeat first step and win. Since it wasn't a fluke, I hold the ticket/token and consider playing the next event.
4) Repeat first step and win.
5) I bank that cash too and decide to play the next level.
6) Lather, rinse repeat.

So basically, I must make 3 wins profit in order to use one to advance.

Silly, safe or smart, who knows? What I do know is, the bankroll grows and so does my confidence as I advance.

But hey, that's just me.
However you go, G/L !

BamBam, that sounds like a great plan. Heck I have no plan so I'll use it. Working on the 3rd rise to the top. If I do it i get to play the big tourney!!! Which I WANT. So I gotta do it.

thanks!

Re: screenshots.

I find the easiest thing to do is to save it in Paint, then open the picture up in Windows Photo Gallery and crop if needed. there might be easier ways, but that works for me.

You can't expect to win every SNG no matter how good you are playing since you usually start out with few chips and are sometimes at the mercy of the cards.

Light, I tried it and it worked! Thank you!!! All I have to do is win something work showing a screenshot again.

Pokah Dave I hadn't thought about that scenario but don't worry. it'll never happen!!

If you won your way to the Sunday $216 through Steps then I say play the fucking thing.

You can always work your bankroll up again playing the small stakes so I say take a shot.

It's always good to play above your bankroll from time to time, especially when you can play a $216 tournament and it only cost you $26.

or you could download screenhunter (google it). It's free.

Then, all you have to do is set the functionality to where you want to save each screen pic. THEN, hit F6 anytime you want to save a screen

We do things the easy way 'round here

@Donnie, that's what I was thinking!

@Riggs, that doesn't sound easy to me, but I'll give it a try. Thank you.
