Dear God, I promise to be on my best behavior for one whole week if you'll just let the Jags beat the Titans.  Yes, Dear Lord, I know they're the underdog.  :)

I did well in my football pool this week.  But it's winner take all, so doing "well" isn't quite good enough to win.  I need to do fanfuckingtastic.

Click on the grid below and you will see I'm in first place for the week.  Out of the 13 games played so far this week, I picked 10 winners and 3 losers.  Not too shabbay.


Here comes the funny part.  Even though I put my points on Tennessee to win tomorrow night, I am now rooting for their opposition.  If Tennessee wins, Art will take the lead and win for the week.  If Tennessee loses, I retain the lead and get the win.  And this league is winner take all.  No cash for 2nd place.  1st place gets $69 every week.

There is another way to win as well.  Your weekly points are accumulated and midway through the season, and again at the end of the season, the person with the most points gets a nice chunk of cash.  And if you click on the link below, you'll see that I've taken the lead in points for the season. Woot!

So everyone, please root for Jacksonville!  If Jacksonville wins, Josie wins!  Of course I want to win the money, but more than that, the trash talking I'll be able to do will be awesome.

Good luck Josie, I'll root for you even though I took Tennessee to win and cover. Still I've been wrong a lot on my football pools so I can take another loss.

Like Kissing My Sister.....

The Very Josie was Very fun yet I'm Very frustrated. (looking at you Jordan) We ended up with (13) players.  Not too shabby, considering it was Dank night. The players were: 1. Coop 2. Frankie Baby 3. Gary 4. Jordan 5. Kattitude 6. Lucky Duck 7. Memphis Mojo 8. The Lovely Very Josie 9. WolfsButt, I mean Wolfshead :P 10. Edgie??? 11. GoBurn1 12. My sis, PrettyCat1 a/k/a Cricket 13. Baynes Baynes made an entrance showing up a tiny bit late, but what a pleasant surprise.  I could've kissed that frog!  (frog avatar)  Baynes I think you can leave work at a decent time one a month, right?  The Very Josie is only once a month! 2 tables.  I started off with Mojo, Kat, Edgie, GoBurn1, Baynes & Ducky at my table.  Started off playing good and stayed that way.  Caught some decent cards early on and kept the chips I won.  But that Damn Mojo was a thorn in my side for the whole game.  He got MORE chips early on and held onto them too.  Mojo will now be called Nem

Upset

I got a lot of much needed sleep last night and woke up with intentions of writing a very funny story but plans have changed my friends. I just read Tony's Latest Post and I'm too worried or upset to write about anything so frivolous.  I think many of his readers just see him as an interesting story, and not a person.  I see the person, who I was trying so very hard to steer away from a train wreck, but it didn't work.  In fact, the part that scares me the most is maybe I, with my good intentions, pushed him further off the cliff.  Maybe I put too much pressure on him to avoid the machines - too much pressure about something he is unable to control.  I need to shut the fuck up and stop giving out unsolicited advice, which most likely will not happen.  I cannot express how badly I feel about this.
