Crafty Devil and Little Acorns

If you want a step back in time, check out The Crafty Devil Southpaw's latest post, where he compares me to his mom's 70's wallpaper.  The reason I wore the big earrings (and floral top) for the pictures was I was worried I'd look to butch/dikey, with the short hair.

I've seen the wallpaper in person and even though I am sure it was put up at least 30 years ago, it looks brand spanking new.  The whole house is kind of like stepping into a time machine, in the coolest of ways. 

I think Gary should do a whole post about his Mom.  Ma stories are the best!

Yankees suck.  I know you probably think they've been playing well but trust me, THEY SUCK.  I predict the Texas Rangers kick their ass and win the World Series.

Speaking of The Rangers, there's another sports team called The Rangers right over the pond.  You should check out Little Acorn Man's post about The Rangers.....it looks like a damn exciting game - who knew soccer could be so explosive.  I have never been to a soccer game - but now maybe I will.  Revolution tickets are so darn cheap....we shall see if US soccer is as exciting as UK football.

Like Kissing My Sister.....

The Very Josie was Very fun yet I'm Very frustrated. (looking at you Jordan) We ended up with (13) players.  Not too shabby, considering it was Dank night. The players were: 1. Coop 2. Frankie Baby 3. Gary 4. Jordan 5. Kattitude 6. Lucky Duck 7. Memphis Mojo 8. The Lovely Very Josie 9. WolfsButt, I mean Wolfshead :P 10. Edgie??? 11. GoBurn1 12. My sis, PrettyCat1 a/k/a Cricket 13. Baynes Baynes made an entrance showing up a tiny bit late, but what a pleasant surprise.  I could've kissed that frog!  (frog avatar)  Baynes I think you can leave work at a decent time one a month, right?  The Very Josie is only once a month! 2 tables.  I started off with Mojo, Kat, Edgie, GoBurn1, Baynes & Ducky at my table.  Started off playing good and stayed that way.  Caught some decent cards early on and kept the chips I won.  But that Damn Mojo was a thorn in my side for the whole game.  He got MORE chips early on and held onto them too.  Mojo will now be called Nem

Upset

I got a lot of much needed sleep last night and woke up with intentions of writing a very funny story but plans have changed my friends. I just read Tony's Latest Post and I'm too worried or upset to write about anything so frivolous.  I think many of his readers just see him as an interesting story, and not a person.  I see the person, who I was trying so very hard to steer away from a train wreck, but it didn't work.  In fact, the part that scares me the most is maybe I, with my good intentions, pushed him further off the cliff.  Maybe I put too much pressure on him to avoid the machines - too much pressure about something he is unable to control.  I need to shut the fuck up and stop giving out unsolicited advice, which most likely will not happen.  I cannot express how badly I feel about this.
