Got a call from someone else....

Crazy receptionist isn't here to screen my calls so my phone rings...I pick it up...it's Gary, who doesn't even say hello.  He says...

"So the only reason you went to Seabrook with me was for the lobster roll?  Fish is that much of a motivator?"

LOL

In my empathetic way I answered, "Not just any fish, lobster!"

Lobster is technically is a crustacean not the fish.

I know what empathy means asshole. I was being facetious - Gee Uncle Gary, what does THAT word mean?

Waffles is right - maybe you should go to him for your vocabulary words. lol

I was just quoting Princess Bride...I knew you were being sarcastic. No need for swearing at me.

Regarding the word "facetious," by the way, it's the shortest word in the English language that uses all vowels in alphabetical order. If you want to include "Y," the word is "facetiously."

And Waffles, yes, you need not point out the distinction between crustacean and fish to any Jew. We are prohibited from eating anything that comes from the ocean that does not have fins and scales.

The Jewish dietary laws, what we call "Kashrut," could easily be summed up thus: "Thou shalt not have anything yummy."

Not to worry, though: I don't pay attention to that nonsense. Any religion that outlaws cheeseburgers is no religion for me.

Speaking of fish, just wondering if certain other things are considered kohsher.

Wolfie, that's ALWAYS kosher.
