Challenge ME?

Some RANDOM BLOGGER sent me a challenge last week.  He said to play ten 5.50 (9) person games and see how well I did.  Well I gave it a half assed attempt.  I played like 4 of them in a row when I was on tilt from a tourney and was 0-4.  So I just gave it up.

But it seems he's doing it himself and is 2 for 2 in cashes.  Nice start, huh? So I'm starting afresh as I know I can do as well if not better. Besides it helps me to have some competition.  We'll see where we end up.

Tonight is live poker at home. $5 per tourney and then The Mookie at 10pm.  JoelThePokerGod (barf) better hope and pray he isn't at my table.  Maybe I'll get lucky and have Lightning to my right.

Been impossible lately to play the Wednesday bloggerfest, but I'm going to give it the ole' college try to get there tonight. This PokerGod named Joel (i.e. me) will try to take u out.

So wait - you are QUITTING your old challenge that you never finished... and then starting a new fresh one with fresh stats reset to zero?

sounds like trickery to me...

Also, you need to brush up on some BRM (bank roll management) and stop putting 20-30% of your roll into one tournament. Not good.

Schaubs, YES that's exactly what I'm doing. Starting fresh and playing 10 SNGs. It's still a challenge cuz waffles is already up 2 (bfd). I know I SUCK at bankroll management. It seems like the hardest part for me.

@Lightning - I need someone at my table like you, who'll donk off all his chips in 8 minutes or less. :P And honey, try a more modest goal than felting me....like I dunno, winning the noble peace prize!

Slight wrinkle to tonight's plan. I just made a $5 prop bet with Gary that I'd have more net winnings in tonight's live game than him. This is a wrinkle because I usually throw the last game so I can focus on The Mookie. I may have to focus on both games tonight.

The Very Josie was Very fun yet I'm Very frustrated. (looking at you Jordan) We ended up with (13) players.  Not too shabby, considering it was Dank night. The players were: 1. Coop 2. Frankie Baby 3. Gary 4. Jordan 5. Kattitude 6. Lucky Duck 7. Memphis Mojo 8. The Lovely Very Josie 9. WolfsButt, I mean Wolfshead :P 10. Edgie??? 11. GoBurn1 12. My sis, PrettyCat1 a/k/a Cricket 13. Baynes Baynes made an entrance showing up a tiny bit late, but what a pleasant surprise.  I could've kissed that frog!  (frog avatar)  Baynes I think you can leave work at a decent time one a month, right?  The Very Josie is only once a month! 2 tables.  I started off with Mojo, Kat, Edgie, GoBurn1, Baynes & Ducky at my table.  Started off playing good and stayed that way.  Caught some decent cards early on and kept the chips I won.  But that Damn Mojo was a thorn in my side for the whole game.  He got MORE chips early on and held onto them too.  Mojo will now be called Nem
