Below are my picks - you can click on it if you actually want to read it, but the bottom line is I am in 4th place for the week at the moment.  However, if my picks for the next two games win, I will win for the week again.  I need Atlanta to beat New Orleans and Philly to beat Minnesota.  That's not asking too much, is it? If that happens I will win for the week, by ONE POINT.  Football is truly  game of inches.

I am sweating 2 games instead of one, because the Sunday Night Football game was called off due to weather. 

Regardless of the outcome of the next 2 games this was a very good week for me, as I am no longer tied for 1st for the year.  I am now ahead of 2nd place by 14 points and I think that number will only increase when these games are done.

Poker:
I feel kinda bad about my Waffles post.  It didn't really reflect the actual play that took place.   After I won the first game Waffles won best of 3 a few times in a row and just kept on playing until I was up.  And most matches lasted a loooooooooooong time.

The hat trick for Very Josie's heads up challenge will be against HeffMike Wednesday night at 9pm sharp.  It's also poker night at my house so I will be playing both simultaneously.  I remember playing heads up against Heff once before and the results were good.  :)

I think Miami Don challenged me to a little heads up as well, dontcha think?

Miami Don:  "When you get done with all the riff-raff you just let me know."

But do I wanna risk my money against the winner of WPBT 2010?  I'm thinking yes!  It's not like he plays heads up alot and I've been getting a ton of play HU.  Yeah, once I teach Heffy a thing or two it's onto the WPBT champ.

Like Kissing My Sister.....

The Very Josie was Very fun yet I'm Very frustrated. (looking at you Jordan) We ended up with (13) players.  Not too shabby, considering it was Dank night. The players were: 1. Coop 2. Frankie Baby 3. Gary 4. Jordan 5. Kattitude 6. Lucky Duck 7. Memphis Mojo 8. The Lovely Very Josie 9. WolfsButt, I mean Wolfshead :P 10. Edgie??? 11. GoBurn1 12. My sis, PrettyCat1 a/k/a Cricket 13. Baynes Baynes made an entrance showing up a tiny bit late, but what a pleasant surprise.  I could've kissed that frog!  (frog avatar)  Baynes I think you can leave work at a decent time one a month, right?  The Very Josie is only once a month! 2 tables.  I started off with Mojo, Kat, Edgie, GoBurn1, Baynes & Ducky at my table.  Started off playing good and stayed that way.  Caught some decent cards early on and kept the chips I won.  But that Damn Mojo was a thorn in my side for the whole game.  He got MORE chips early on and held onto them too.  Mojo will now be called Nem

Upset

I got a lot of much needed sleep last night and woke up with intentions of writing a very funny story but plans have changed my friends. I just read Tony's Latest Post and I'm too worried or upset to write about anything so frivolous.  I think many of his readers just see him as an interesting story, and not a person.  I see the person, who I was trying so very hard to steer away from a train wreck, but it didn't work.  In fact, the part that scares me the most is maybe I, with my good intentions, pushed him further off the cliff.  Maybe I put too much pressure on him to avoid the machines - too much pressure about something he is unable to control.  I need to shut the fuck up and stop giving out unsolicited advice, which most likely will not happen.  I cannot express how badly I feel about this.
