Conversations with Lightning36 #1

I was chatting/iming with Lightning36 last night after we got knocked out of BBT in Exile #1.  Please enjoy...

Light: Thanks for calling me like you said you would.

VJ: Erm...I was sooo gonna call you but this is better!

Light: You coming to Vegas?  My air and hotel is all set.  I got both for $5.

VJ:  Wow that's great - but I dunno.  Don't have enough funds and my trip will cost more than $5.

Light: I can get you a free room!

VJ: Erm...would you be sleeping in said room?

Light: Of course!

VJ:  You know no matter how drunk I can possibly get there's no chance of you getting lucky, right?

Light: Well...it would be payment, not luck...

VJ: LOLLLLLLLLLL For payment like that, you'd have to set me up at the Bellagio for like a month, with room service.

Oh shit....he's booking me a month at Bellagio!  Nooooo!!!!!

He was just kdding - he's a good friend.  I still think that that as a good friend he can get me a free room down the hall from his.  He must have a gajillion points or whatever it takes to get free rooms at Bally's.  Don't you guys agree?

Here's how the conversation ended:

Light: Osama Bin Laden's been killed.

VJ: What??????  Really?

I put the news on and found he was right.  Wow.  One less evil person in the world, is more than okay by me.

Wow -- this conversation left out sooooo many parts. Ken P and Wolfshead will now be thinking for sure that I went over to the dark side.

Of course, I also offered PokahDave the opportunity to share a room with me this summer. You can be sure that I wouldn't be expecting payment from him ... : o )

LOL Unlike Waffles, I know you're not creepy. I appreciate the offer - and know you aren't expecting payment from neither PokahDave nor me.

But really Light, I need my own free room. I travel with alot of big jewelry, tons of clothes and makeup. Not to mention my hair care products.

I can't go anywhere this summer...what a bummer. I hope to be at the winter classic. Hopefully the invitation is there for that. Thanks anyway. The posted conversation points out one thing. Lightning is kissin' your ass more than anybody ever!

Oooo Mid July? Hot Vegas sounds good. This trip here is end of June, but I may be too late for the "free stuff". If I am, mid-july works!

Well let me know, I'm in a funk and thinking that booking it on Friday would do wonders for my mental state right now.... And if lightning won't get you a free room, I will. I've got like 6 offers out there right now. We would tear Vegas up :)

The Very Josie was Very fun yet I'm Very frustrated. (looking at you Jordan) We ended up with (13) players.  Not too shabby, considering it was Dank night. The players were: 1. Coop 2. Frankie Baby 3. Gary 4. Jordan 5. Kattitude 6. Lucky Duck 7. Memphis Mojo 8. The Lovely Very Josie 9. WolfsButt, I mean Wolfshead :P 10. Edgie??? 11. GoBurn1 12. My sis, PrettyCat1 a/k/a Cricket 13. Baynes Baynes made an entrance showing up a tiny bit late, but what a pleasant surprise.  I could've kissed that frog!  (frog avatar)  Baynes I think you can leave work at a decent time one a month, right?  The Very Josie is only once a month! 2 tables.  I started off with Mojo, Kat, Edgie, GoBurn1, Baynes & Ducky at my table.  Started off playing good and stayed that way.  Caught some decent cards early on and kept the chips I won.  But that Damn Mojo was a thorn in my side for the whole game.  He got MORE chips early on and held onto them too.  Mojo will now be called Nem

Upset

I got a lot of much needed sleep last night and woke up with intentions of writing a very funny story but plans have changed my friends. I just read Tony's Latest Post and I'm too worried or upset to write about anything so frivolous.  I think many of his readers just see him as an interesting story, and not a person.  I see the person, who I was trying so very hard to steer away from a train wreck, but it didn't work.  In fact, the part that scares me the most is maybe I, with my good intentions, pushed him further off the cliff.  Maybe I put too much pressure on him to avoid the machines - too much pressure about something he is unable to control.  I need to shut the fuck up and stop giving out unsolicited advice, which most likely will not happen.  I cannot express how badly I feel about this.
