Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

It's Week 8 and it's time to Pick The Winners! 

In my league I am tied for first place.  Believe it or not, I do a fair amount of trash talking in that league so if I don't win this I'll never hear the end of it.  I've won for the past three years. (hat trick thus far baby)

I also have a half year side bet with one of the guys in my league, and he's about 65 points behind me.  It's nice that one bet is a sure thing.

And last but not least, I have my double or nothing bet with the soon to be mustachioed Waffles.  And we all know there's no way in heck that he can win two weeks in a row.  Of course just pondering the odds of that makes me think about SpewDay and losing with pocket QQ's twice in a row.  Shit like that can't keep happening to me.  I'm too good a person.  I mean, I'm kind, generous, sensitive, intelligent, and humble! :P

If you think taking SF to win anything is a smart bet, you probably ought to get out cheap and buy Waffles his 4 drinks now. I know after you lose this time you'll want to double or nothin again and before you know it you'll owe him a liquor store.

Neo I changed it! And I'm kind of glad that I did cuz I see now that the man I'm tied with for the lead has a 6 on Denver. If SF lost I would've been screwed. Thank you. I THINK.

Upset

I got a lot of much needed sleep last night and woke up with intentions of writing a very funny story but plans have changed my friends. I just read Tony's Latest Post and I'm too worried or upset to write about anything so frivolous.  I think many of his readers just see him as an interesting story, and not a person.  I see the person, who I was trying so very hard to steer away from a train wreck, but it didn't work.  In fact, the part that scares me the most is maybe I, with my good intentions, pushed him further off the cliff.  Maybe I put too much pressure on him to avoid the machines - too much pressure about something he is unable to control.  I need to shut the fuck up and stop giving out unsolicited advice, which most likely will not happen.  I cannot express how badly I feel about this.
