Whee!



Believe it or not, I have NEVER had an energy drink, Monster or otherwise.  Before today, that is.

Tonight I am doing ANOTHER focus group and this one is on energy drinks.  When asked if I drink them regularly, I answer affirmative!  Um, that means I lied.

But I did it for you guys!  If I do this focus group, I'll have me some drinkin' money.

And even though I lied, I do like to give them their money's worth, so today my fave receptionist went out at lunch and bought me TWO Monster energy drinks.  I drink about 3/4 of the first one and I feel like I'm on crack!  Sheesh - maybe this stuff should be illegal.

I will be sampling the other flavor (first one tasted gross, yet I told them thats what I drink!) as soon as this post is finished.  I may get a week's worth of work done on Monday.

Wheeeee!

Kinda worried though that they are going to make me try like 10 different kinds while I'm there tonight.  I may never get to sleep.

Hey, anyone see that cry baby, Affleck lose at the WSOP.  What a fucking moron to be crying like a little cry baby.  That's for you..

I'm like you, I don't drink them. I got one once, a sugar-free Amp, cause it's made by the folks that make Mountain Dew and I love Diet Dew.

It was gross.

I tasted a sugar-free Red Bull once too, and it seems like someone said "there needs to be a drink for people who LOVE Vics Formula 44D."

DB, they are effing gross - yet I see everyone drinking them in the poker room I go to. Maybe it would be more palatable if vodka were mixed in.

Upset

I got a lot of much needed sleep last night and woke up with intentions of writing a very funny story but plans have changed my friends. I just read Tony's Latest Post and I'm too worried or upset to write about anything so frivolous.  I think many of his readers just see him as an interesting story, and not a person.  I see the person, who I was trying so very hard to steer away from a train wreck, but it didn't work.  In fact, the part that scares me the most is maybe I, with my good intentions, pushed him further off the cliff.  Maybe I put too much pressure on him to avoid the machines - too much pressure about something he is unable to control.  I need to shut the fuck up and stop giving out unsolicited advice, which most likely will not happen.  I cannot express how badly I feel about this.
