Poker Whirlwind

Guess who's out sick today? Yup me. Haven't used a sick day in over 6 months, but was playing online poker last night...er....this morning till about 4:30am, when I decided to call it a night.

Let me back track a bit. About 4 weeks ago I won about $200 in a cash game against some lesbians and black men (separate story which I may get into later), 3 weeks ago I won $600 in an online tournament, 2 weeks ago I won $1,800 (first place) in a tournament, and then proceeded to do alot of online winning. Last night when I shut the lap top off I had over $1,000 in my full tilt account. Not to shabbay.

Of course I couldn't get up for work this morning, so I decided to be a slug and call in sick. There are not managment meetings or project review meetings today, so I don't think anything to horrible has happened in my absence. Yes, they cannot function without me. I guarantee you when I get into work tomorrow, my boss Alan will be waiting with a solemn face and a long list of possible tragedies that may have occurred while I was gone. Serious issues, that one.

Anyway, I woke up at llam and decided to increase my fulltilt acct. I came in first place in my first game ( I rule!) and had a smile plastered to my face. Then I lost. Three. games. Ouch. Done for the day, but still have a healthy balance. Love me some holdem...although I am not looking forward to work tomorrow.

I hereby promise to record all my poker activities here and see if I can make myself a track record to look back on. I'm so bad about keeping up with stuff like this, but if Hurricane Mikey can do it, so can I!

Booo yeahh!!! Love me some hold 'em too. You're a great writer =)

Anywho, if hoyazo doesn't answer your question, a stop n go is when you call a raise preflop (out of position) where your sole intention is to push all in on the flop regardless of the cards. I may be wrong, but that's the way I perceive it.

long long long after the fact I want to write that it's pretty damned amusing that you have 1 post for 2007, 2008 and 2009.

I really got a good chuckle out of that.

Kinda wish I would have kept all my old posts but I deleted everything when I started over again.

I'd love to go back and read about how bad I was but how good I perceived myself to be in 2004-2005 when I started playing poker and writing about it :)
