I played my $33 ticket last night and was out before you can say whatthefuckhappened.  I had pocket aces and got into a reraise pissing match preflop with a bad man.  :)  Flop was 9 high rainbow and he jammed all in.  I called hoping I was up against KK or something similar.  Nope.  I was up against 6-6 and there was a 6 on the flop.  I think the flop was 9-6-2.  Ugh.   I was like what just happened?  I hadn't even settled into the tournament!  So I decided to play another.  :)

I played an $11 satellite game.  55 peeps and top 6 get a $109 tournament ticket to use on any $109 tourney you'd like.  Once I started playing (and kicking ass) I realized it was a rebuy tournament.  Blah.  I did NOT rebuy, yet stayed in the top 5 for most of the game.  A couple hours into it the blinds were very big and I got 3 great starting hands which I had to play and then dump and cost me a lot of chips.  I went from top of the pack, to mid pack, to near the bottom.  WTF.

First hand was A-Q.  Dumped a lot of chips into this only to fold to his jam at the turn.

Next hand A-J.  Flop was A-2-5 rainbow.  I bet he called.  Turn was a 3.  Check, check.  River was a 4.  Straight on the board.  Fuck.  I check.  He has plenty of chips and jams all in.  The fucker.  We're probably splitting but what if he has a 6?  I have to muck and do.

Next hand 9-9.  I'm getting trounched and the bb is 1k and the dude to my right makes it 3k to go.  I call.  Flop is 6 high.  Whee!!  He makes a big bet.  I think about raising but instead just call.  Turn is a 10.  Fuck!  Now I'm regretting not raising him.  He jams all in.  In some cases I might call here thinking he's just representing a 10 but I didn't like the feeling of this whole fucking hand (hence no raise after the flop).  I dunno if it's because I lost the last 2 consequetive hands but I fold.  He kindly shows Q-Q.  Awesome fold.

No fucking chips though.  Well I have chips, just not the nice big stack I like to keep with me for bullying and such.

Keep in mind at this point there are probably 18 peeps left.  1-6 get a $109 token and 7-15 get $11 token (their money back).  Anyone here think I want my fucking money back?  No?  Good.

Blinds are huge and I'd been card dead after the bit of fun above.  I have about 4 times the BB and jam all in with a small pocket pair and double up.  15 of us play for quite a while and then boom, boom, boom and we are down to 9 peeps.  I'm kinda at the bottom and trying to figure out how to pull this out of my ass when...

Well Bitch, that's all you had to say!  Seriously, ty bbd....you're message came at a time I absolutely needed it.  I waited it out and jammed one final time and boom.  Mama has a $109 tourney ticket!

I'm no longer bummed about losing the $33 tourney as I now have a $109 to play!  Have I mentioned that these things seem to burn a hole in my pocket and must be used immediately?  :)  I do wish it was $109 to using sparingly yet on the other hand.....Mama's playing a $109 tournament!  TODAY!

100 Day Challenge:
Eat very healthy yesterday and didn't have one salad. (as I was out of lettuce) I may need crates of the shiat and I'm going food shopping as soon as I post this.  (TMI, I know) Anyway.....light wheat toast for breakfast.  Lunch was raw baby carrots, light string cheese, plain non fat yogurt with a squirt of honey on top and that other fucking apple.  Weird lunch, I know but it was what was left.  :)  Went to my mom's after work and had a tiny portion of wheat pasta (the portion killed her and we argued for about 10 min over it but I won) and some fish.  It's Friday and it's lent, m'kay?  My mother is big into all of that.  Me not so much, but I do  like fish!  Later on I had some olives and celery.

As an aside.....my mother says "Is your sister's boyfriend weird or what?  I liked him the first day but I think he's weird.  He keeps looking at me and telling me I'm gorgeous.  (I witnessed this and it WAS kinda weird)

"Well you are, Ma."

"Get outa here. No, and anyway he should no tell me this.  And then he tell me I have a nice figure."

"Erm, yeah I heard that.  He was trying to compliment you."

"Eh, so you hear a that, eh? You tella me thats a not weird?"

"No, it's weird."

"Why he look at me? He's not supposta look at my figure. No! I think he's a weird.

As far as exercise, I did the long walk (and it rained fml) and the ab routine.  No bike or free weights but I'll be resuming that today.  One knee is a little extra ouchy and I figured better to give it a day off of the bike.

In the previous post there's a great comment by Seb's Zebra.  He's international!  And uses words like fortnight! (that means 2 weeks) lol Anyway, he left a lot of good advice and food for thought.  :)  One of his great ideas is to not eat while watching TV.  I am going to start that today and see just how difficult it is.  He also says to eat smaller portions but things I enjoy and savor them.  Mmmmmm  That I can do.  Oh and he also says to weigh myself once per week.  Going into this I'd decided I wasn't going to weigh myself at all.  Previously if I were dieting I'd weigh myself every frigging day and get discouraged.  I didn't want to fall into that same trap and decided I'd gauge my success by how my clothes felt.  Not sure if I'll do the once a week thingy or stick to not at all.
